Business backup in Uzbekistan
Proxmox Backup Server, VM and database backups: scheduling, retention, integrity verification and restore testing.
Discuss the project ↗What we actually deliver
We design backups around recovery requirements: acceptable data loss and how quickly services need to return.
- Proxmox Backup Server
- Proxmox VE
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- S3
- RPO / RTO
Virtual machines
Configure Proxmox Backup Server (PBS) for Proxmox VE: jobs, deduplication, retention and verification.
Databases and files
Agree consistent PostgreSQL, MySQL and file backup methods, accounting for application dependencies.
Backup isolation
Select separate storage and a second location, encryption and access controls. A snapshot is not the only backup.
Restore validation
Restore a test VM, files or database in an isolated environment; record recovery time and instructions.
What you receive
A validated backup design, restore-test report and agreed target RPO/RTO.
The stack and scope follow an assessment. Compatibility, licences, timing and acceptance criteria are recorded in the proposal.
How we deliver
Assessment
We collect requirements, inventory the environment and identify constraints.
Design
We prepare the target solution, work plan, responsibilities and acceptance criteria.
Implementation
We deploy in controlled stages, test the result and provide documentation.
Frequently asked questions
What do you configure in Proxmox Backup Server?
Backup schedules and retention, access, integrity checks, notifications and restoration. Separate-copy placement and deletion protection follow project requirements.
Is a VM backup sufficient for a database?
Not always. For PostgreSQL, we agree a database-aware approach, including WAL/PITR where needed. We test application integrity and recovery, not just the existence of a backup file.
How are RPO and RTO selected?
RPO is the acceptable time-based data loss; RTO is the target recovery time. We agree these with the business and validate them through restore tests, considering resources and dependencies.
Do you test backup restoration?
Yes. We run restore tests to the agreed scope, record results and provide a runbook. Creating a backup successfully does not, by itself, prove that it is usable.
