Documented selection limits
Reach, rate, form factor and breakout support apply only to the listed standard/mode, fiber grade and platform/port configuration. Keep source qualifiers for FEC, attenuation, transmit/receive limits, temperature, active/passive operation and cable ends. Check Juniper HCT for the exact host, interface module, port mode, Junos release, required QSA adapter and qualifications before ordering. Do not infer universal interoperability or combine power/temperature/reach across model profiles. Optical link budgets are not calculated or inferred. The source explicitly distinguishes these single-wavelength optics from earlier 100G CWDM4/LR4 optics: do not assume interoperability; supported mixed links use the shortest applicable reach.
HCT interoperability and reach qualifications
QSFP-100G-DR supports single-wavelength DR-to-DR/FR links and qualified 400G DR4-to-four-100G-DR breakout. Use the shorter reach of the paired optics. Do not pair it with older CWDM4/LR4 optics.
